BMW Limited slip diffs ---- HELP please

Hi guys,

I'm in need of some knowledgeable people to help me out, i have a 188mm LSD carrier unit that suits ratios lower than 3.15 . However i want to use a ratio higher that 3.15. ie 3.9

What options do i have for making this work. Apart from re drilling the crown wheel bolt holes on the carrier.

Im wondering if the internals from my LSD carrier (clutches etc) will fit into a non-LSD carrier that was suited to higher than 3.15

Any bit of help appreciated.

No they won't fit, get yourself the right lsd pack and you'll have no problems.

$500, I'll have some next week.
