JesseRaymond 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2012 Hi there, I have came to the conclusion that my new ride would look so much better lowered. I wanted to check with you guys on the best way to do it ? I was thinking of buying of here some 2nd hand lowering springs and shocks and installing them. Or i was thinking of just getting some new springs but would it be possible to install the springs onto the shocks myself ? Any comments would be appreciated,
antil33t 90 Report post Posted June 12, 2012 http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=39924 Just buy some springs. and new shocks. second hand is okay if you know that the shocks are all good. You'll NEED spring compressors and possibly a rattle gun for DIY, I couldn't remove my shock top bolt without one.
Etwenty1 45 Report post Posted June 12, 2012 or take each strut to your friendly mechanic with the compressors on and get them to rattle off that nut. 2 second job.
