Brake pad question

Recommended Posts

Situation: In the not to distant future I'll be taking the M3 around the track for a squirt.

My brake pads are very old I suspect but have plenty of meat left.

Q: Will their age decrease their effectiveness eg heat resistance or will they be OK?

Common sense tells me the answer but I'm still curious...

Bring some tools and a spare set of pads just in case you cooked them on the track. That will at least get you home.

+1 on the fluid flush.
