Guest MSBOND Report post Posted January 18, 2004 ok... alittle more to it... wen i reach 180 in my car my head deck turns itself off, this has been happening ever since we were doin continuous high speeds on the way back from taupo, my car is now also running high revs at idle if left for a period of time and drives its self at round maybe 5-6km/hr. Any idea wot type of fault my car has?

Guest MSBOND Report post Posted January 20, 2004 OK.. The verdict is... The screws on the housing of the armature have come lose letting the armature rub on the feild coils which has then overtime shorted out the wires which run along the armature. Confusing? So the bushes and housing r sweet, so even if you got a good armature lying about will be sweeet cage, otherwise il buy the whole thing. The numbers on the housing are 0 001 311 100 its a BOSCH 12V
