arah 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2012 Hi all my e46 2004 battery just died, it was using a "super charge" cca 600 smf65L. Is there any tips/advice on the current market of batteries readily out there? Will resort to jeff grey's OEM batts , (exide??). In CHCH so not much choice regarding options. Can anyone chip in please? Thanks.
albert72 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2012 Have you tried Bosch Battery, part number 56318 which is equivalent to a DIN65. We sell them here in Auckland but not too sure if it's avalable in the South Island. Cheers

Some BMW dealerships carry Bosch, can't go wrong with that either. But I have recently discovered Koba, which is stocked by Partmaster and is very well-priced especially if you can get it at trade pricing. Was recommended by some folks in the trade. Seems to be well made and comes with a 3 year warranty, which would suggest a certain level of quality. Some folks on this forum may have a different opinion. kiwi535 538 Report post Posted November 7, 2012 the most important thing is to get a battery that is equal to or better than the one recomended(in performance/capacity)
