curves.asia 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) I'm looking for door hinge pins for my E30, going to re-adjust and re-align the doors. Does anyone know where I can get these? Thanks Edited January 23, 2013 by curves.asia
hotwire 352 Report post Posted January 23, 2013 Are the pins themselves worn/sloppy? Door adjustment/alignment is done by shims

Door adjustment/alignment is done by shims The pins themselves are worn but I'm more into adjustments/alignments... so that would be shims no? Haven't done this before so a little bit out my range
hotwire 352 Report post Posted January 23, 2013 Haven't come across one with worn pins yet, although if they become dry & rusty they could well wear. Yes there are packer shims that slot behind the door mounting bolts. Number of shims will vary - to allow correct door alignment. That said, if the pins are worn & the hinges sag - this will need to be rectified first

Do you know if anyone does this? Otherwise I might have to do this myself
