E30 325i Tune-up / Power Upgrade

Hey guys,

Im wanting to get my manual e30 325i cabriolet tuned up/chipped. It runs fine at the moment but im just after a bit more power.

I've heard Hi Velocity is the place to go.

Ideally I want to spend around $1000 give and take.

Has anyone else been there/got any recommendations on experienced people in the know?

What work did you get done? What sort of gains? Cheers

ECU remap.....gained about 7rwkw from memory...cant remember torque numbers but a decent increase.

Definitely a very marked improvement in driving performance

Waste of time.... Have one in my ecu doesn't do much. E30s don't even have a speed cut lol

We put one of these chips into a 2.5 ltr M20 in an E30 and got 6 hp at the back wheels.

A decent chip will give you gains.... if your not worried about fuel consumption also put in a 3 bar fuel pressure regulator, bore your throttle body to 64mm, add a decent exhaust header and richen up your air flow meter.
