I towed it to a garage and found out today that moisture had gotten into the ECU resulting in corrosion over time. I'm researching it at the moment but came across this pelican technical article and wondering if anyone has had success with swapping in a Bosch Motronic, or if there is anything to be gained over the $750 to replace the ECU.
