batterynew 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 I tried to replace my laptop battery for my Dell Inspiron 5150. When sliding in the new battery and switching on the laptop a message appears saying that the battery is not recognised. How can I install the battery to the system? Does it have to be configured in BIOS? Please can anyone let me know. Thanks. Latitude E5410 Battery latitude E5400 Battery

elmarco 56 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 (edited) OK - here's what you do... Wrap the laptop in cling film, then put it in the freezer overnight. Then first thing in the morning, put it back in the box it came in and return it to Dell with a note telling them you aren't qualified to own a laptop. Really?? You've joined a BMW forum to ask about a laptop battery? If you're serious, then Google it. If you're interested in a battery for your X5, you might have the right place.
