Missing Beltronics radar detector?

Hi

Bought the car with the below little doofer fitted and cable dangling from just above the rearviewmirror so was wondering whether anyone can tell me more about it ie. what's missing, can i just get the missing bit etc

The lights dont light up but something beeps every now and again but cant tell whether its the Beltronics or the Sony Erickson handsfree kit

Any help will be appreciated!
