e30 manual shifter carrier support

Am installing manual box from a 1986 e30, with the older carrier and urgently need the rear support/bracket that connects the rear carrier bush to the floor pan as below, not sure what it look like.

Here is the part diagram to help you, numbers 5 and 6 are what you need. Found in e30's up to 9/1985.

do you have #5 already? if i remember rightly it should be welded on the body and that rubber bush pushes in as in your pic...

If you don't have the patience to buy in parts or fabricate similar parts you could just do something like this

My lower mount looks like this, a lot of people use this rubber bush (from afm mount) as Opposed to the one you have because it's good for this mod and apparently stonger.

Checked the garage but no luck.

Can you swap the entire sifter mount to the FL type? Might be more available?

all it is is a piece of metal shaped like an L and some nuts and bolts. I'm sure you could fab something.

Got to agree with mat. This would be simple to make.

I found an old e30 engine harness check plug holder that looked like a good base. Even has the bolt hole already.
