*RJ* 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 That sounds pretty good and it's all genuine stuff. Can some please clear up this for me... How many litres EXACTLY does an early model E36 320i take?
WarNox 1 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 yea thats true. I think if you do an oil change you'll need 6L to fill it up fully! hayne's said so...but i'd like some 1 else to confirm it too. thnx!
*RJ* 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 I've been told varying amounts between 4 & 6 - 2L is quite a big difference!!
my_e36 43 Report post Posted October 7, 2005 It's actually 6.5 litre. all 6-cyc e36 takes 6.5 litre most 4-cyc e36 takes 5 litre
my_e36 43 Report post Posted October 7, 2005 By the way, those prices looks pretty good. Should try $60 for a genuine air-filter at Honda!
WarNox 1 Report post Posted October 7, 2005 well a 2.5L e36 cant take the same as a 2.0L. The 2.0 takes 6 and the 2.5 takes about 7.5! ill ring up bmw on monday just to make sure. i think i'll buy everything online, it'll still come cheaper afta all the shipping costs! ill let u know how it goes. thnx! Turning_Point 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2005 (edited) my 318 took exactly 4L (and its just a tad above the dipstick) which is alright. those prices seem pretty fair...my oil filter alone was like 30 bux from parts master...owned haha. and yeah i used castrol 15w40, thats what they had at my workshop!
