Damo 23 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 Hi guys, The 4 speed on the 2002 has kicked the bucket, so I am after a 4 or 5 speed from a 2002 (any year) or the 4 cylinder 320is (1980-1982). I would appreciate any info on tracking one down greatly! Maybe then I can post some photos of NZ's only turbo kitted 2002 touring..... Damian.

Damo 23 Report post Posted November 1, 2005 sorry it was an e21 gearbox anyway, lol too new!! Nope. an e21 box is fine, just as long as we have gearbox speedo drives then its not a problem.

Damo 23 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 bummer bout the box man just throw that auto in haha, hows the motor going? Hey, motor is in, but so is the bung gearbox :/ Cant get either of the computers to work though :/ , how come you gave me 2 anyhow? should I bin one of them now? Might have to be an early install of a RevSpec7 ECU for this one! Heh yeah Ill chuck the auto in, switch gears by pulling / pushing the rod who needs a shifter lever anyway :bounce: I have found a box, but its MEGAbucks for something that is really quite worthless and the ECU takes up too much time for me to do a gearbox rebuild, but thats the price of progress :pimp: so Anyone got a gearbox rotting in the shed for me? Otherwise I will have to import a 5 speed!
