RobD 41 Report post Posted August 3, 2014 The car will have all its underbody panels removed and its underside completely inspected for any signs of rust, including superficial surface corrosion. All suspension and steering parts will be tested, including bushes, ball joints etc. Brakes will be tested for pad wear and rotor wear, and lines are checked for wear too. General chassis check for damage too. Emissions levels are tested. Interior is stripped and checked for signs of repairs to the body. Usual seatbelt checks etc. Must meet Euro 4 emissions standards to be even looked at. It is basically an extremely thorough warrant. It's not as bad as it sounds: - Must provide evidence of it meeting current NZ frontal impact standard - Must be Euro 4 emissions (this will go up to Euro 5 I'm sure) - Inspection for evidence of accident damage repair - Underbody inspection - evidence of corrosion is permitted but must not be structural - Seatbelt inspection - Lights as per spec - No modifications other than factory - plus standard VTNZ WoF Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
