E36 m3 rear wiring harness to diff removal

I need to paint the inside shell (stripped race car) and the painter wants the wiring loom all pulled forward.

Can you disconnect the under floor diff and sundry harness (speed sensors) without removing the diff?

Ie the one that drops from the inside, to underside, right on top of the diff.
