duvey 245 Report post Posted March 5, 2015 (edited) Hi Guys While I have the engine and transmission out of the car, I'm trying to fix up a few issues with the PO's manual conversion. I want to replace the transmission mount, but I've found that the one in my car looks very different than the one that it should have, should the conversion have been done with contemporary parts. The crossmember looks different to anything that I've seen on the web or realoem also, and I'm thinking that the mount may be specific to the crossmember. Would anyone be able to shed some light as to where these parts have actually come from, so that I might replace the mount correctly? Are they suitable at all, or should I replace with the more obvious contemporary crossmember? Facing a similar issue with a PFL shifter carrier that seems to have a linkage that is too short... ugh. Thanks in advance Edited March 5, 2015 by duvey
duvey 245 Report post Posted March 6, 2015 Doing some more research - looks like it might be a e21 crossmember. Weird weird weird.
