Blackfrogg 1 Report post Posted June 17, 2015 Have a e30 m50 swap Driving on cold engine revs drop as expected when changing gears. Once engine is warm the revs will jump 200+ rpm when disengaging clutch which seems to be proportional to how heavily I was accelerating before disengaging the clutch (faster acceleration = higher rev jump). Revs dont jump when reving in neutral and disengaging clutch. Also doenst seem to happen when taking then engine into a higher rev range (4K+). Ive done some reading and all I can find is drive by wire causing it which isnt a problem because its not electric, cleaning throttle body (clean), and cleaning the ICV (havent got round to that yet) I dont have floor mats. Any ideas as to why its fine cold and not when warm would be helpful. Thanks
