Ahmedsinc 414 Report post Posted August 29, 2016 (edited) The DD has of late developed an interesting fault at idle, kinda 'flares' by about 250rpm from normal idle speed. Initial suspicions were ICV & vacuum leak, both of which checked ok. Idle fluctuation does not correlate to engine temp. I have read in various other places that the M10 uses an independent DME module to control the idle, and that said unit is known to fail from time to time. Has anyone else here had the same issue with their M10? If it does turn out to be the idle controller, are they repairable / does anyone know of a good unit for sale?
