Looking to swap: E30 for E34/36

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, selling my beloved E30 after a year and a bit of owning it. Its been a trustworthy daily driver since, but I'm looking to change up and try something a bit newer! I'm keen to swap for a MANUAL 6 cylinder E36 or E34, sedan coupes and tourings (cash can be negotiated). MUST have WOF and REG as I'm swapping my daily driver here. Details are:

Factory manual 316i.
Wof til March 2017
Reg til January 2017
194,xxx Miles on the clock.
PO has swapped an M40B18 in (unsure of kms)
Regularly serviced, last oil change at 194,000 Miles.
Grey cloth/vinyl interior.
Central Locking.
Can come with a Sony Xplod 12" 1000w sub (no amp unfortunately, has wiring provisions)
Aftermarket head unit.
Decent dash, tears not too in your face.
Fog Lights ready to be installed.
IS Lip.
Currently lowered the front on King Lows, have rears to go with it

Ive kept the interior as tidy as I can, the drivers seat is the worst, but both front seats have covers over them. Small tears in rear seats. Has a vintage shift knob, aftermarket JVC head deck. Full floor mats.

Seems to have been repainted or well kept over the years, if carpet is removed, the paint looks brand new. The drivers side has become "delaminated" over a certain section (top half of doors). Owner before me said the car was not garaged in his care and may have something to do with it. Was quoted $200 for both colour matched door shells from Auto38 in Wellington.

Starts first pop each time. Has been a cheap reliable daily for the year and half I've owned it.
Recently serviced the rear hubs and wheel cylinder (drum rears), changed the slave cylinder. Changed rear tyres.
Has reciepts from previous owners.
Imported from UK.

Cheers guys.

I think you may be vastly overestimating the price of an e30, especially a 316 in poor exterior condition, if you believe that you can trade it for a 6cyl manual e36/e46. :/
