2005 E60 - Errors post battery replacement

Hi all,

Had ended up buying an off the cuff purchase in a 2005 Brown / Gold (awful) 525 to tide me over for a while whilst I import another car from the UK.

Where I bought it from had told me the battery needed replacing, and I received a few errors on the dash about this.

The battery has now been replaced, however, that was done prior to me reading all about the battery registration stuff, and now I've got a list of errors;

• Airbags
• Active Steering
• iDrive locks up and freezes

From what I've read, I should be able to sort this with coding. However, the cable I've got was for an F36, so had the RJ45 / Network cable other end, as opposed to USB.

Does anyone know where I can get a cable from in Auckland over the weekend at all?  or assistance from someone (paid for!) to help resolve..?

Driving me mad...
