Guest Andrew Report post Posted March 14, 2006 i'd do it - so why is the box off? what is wrong exactly? They will lap the surface of the flywheel anyway (you can't machine them) to get the grooves out.
Ghost 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2006 A lightened flywheel is one of THE most under-rated performance modifications. Done well, they are AWESOME. No lose in torque. Only 'gains' Only 'lose' "may" be in drivability. A large flywheel has more inertia allowing for 'easier' gear change and clutch release. Essentially a relationship of rotational dynamics. Read this: Puma Racing UK oh, and you don't have an M3 Master Cylinder. Cheers Ash
