buzzlightyear 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 just wondering what is law on certification on lowered cars (E30) what is the lowest point? i've been told that if your lowest point goes under 100mm you can get it certified? is this correct? my lowest point on my car is the steering rack of 85mm. then i see cars that have been certified for 45mm lowest point and they have adjustible suspension what is the go with that. any help would be good. Dnz 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 ENjoy killing your e30 oilpan. I hear they like to die. Being low is not a competition, it was meant to be about handling dammit. Diseconomies of scale man. Diseconomies of scale.
Gus 5 Report post Posted March 14, 2006 could be certified if the springs were captive i think...but i fail to see the point? would need some pretty decent suspension = $$ and you will own your car underbody/exhaust/oil sump
