petone 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2006 offset is the distance between the mounting surface and the CENTER of the rim. As you get wider rims less offset is needed. with 7" rims ET40 is pretty much the max you can go. I doubt you'd even fit those if you have the bigger 51mm struts.
