Hoags 10 Report post Posted December 20, 2021 So I uninstalled HID headlights on my M3 and reinstalled OEM headlights. Along with this I reconnected the CCM wires that are for the headlights as had I previously modified it (bypassing CCM) because the HIDs give you a warning every time you turn them on. Long story short it turns out the HIDs actually also damage that part of the CCM so when reconnected with non HID lights I now get the warning. So I am after a replacement e36 CCM (18 button OBC) - it’s important that it has not been used in a car with HID headlights…. The backup plan is to bypass the CCM using the wires again.
