E30SIX 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2006 Just wondering what the ride heights is like with M3 springs compared to factory 328i springs. I think the m-sport springs are around 20mm, correct me if I am wrong, would the M3 springs be the same or lower. I found the below info on google, don't know how accurate it is. E30SIX 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2006 Weird numbers in weird units Bentley service manual quotes the following figures for M3 on 17 inch wheels Standard Front 585mm Rear 540mm Sport Front 560 mm Rear 540 mm For all other models Standard Front 604 mm Rear 546 mm Sport Front 589 mm Rear 535 mm measurement is from lowest point of rim to highest point of wheel arch, this eliminates tyre profile variations My 328 , on 17 inch M3 wheels runs 575 mm front & 555mm Rear Rear is " factory springs" fronts are lowered 10 mm to get the same chassis incline as M3 H&R sports were 20 mm lower all round but handled worse than this set up Exactly what I am after. What springs did you use on the front, my back is fine but my front is a good few inchs higher.
