Coffee&Doughnut 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2006 Recently picked up a 90 735il, and I noticed the Brake fluid resovoir that sits on top of the master cylinder is a bit too loose and looks as if it has done some leaking in the past. What I would like to know is, can this be replaced or fixed or would I have to get a master cylinder with the resovoir intact. I also need to bleed the brakes as the fluid looks pretty murky. Any ideas? thanks.
Coffee&Doughnut 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2006 Hi, Just thoght I would answer my own question as it probally applies to most models, the brake fluid resovoir plugs into the master cylinder via 2 rubber gromets these are available from BMW dealer for $15 each that creates a pretty firm seal for the resovoir.
