trev5 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2006 I have recently purchased a 635csi which has 240/45 x 415 metric tyres on it. Thinking ahead to future tyre replacement, I know that these tryes are scarce and expensive. Is it better to stay with these, or would it be better to upgrade mags and tyres to a more common size, if so,what size should I be looking for. E30-323ti 66 Report post Posted July 26, 2006 Use them till they are no good, then have a look on trade-me for some 5er wheels (often with tyres) for cheap, then get some nice tyres and it would still prolly be cheaper than new metrics!!! kiwi535 538 Report post Posted July 26, 2006 metrics are hugely expensive .If they are still good it might be worthwhile selling them and with the money you can get new wheels and tyres of trade me or similar. Some people want to put there cars back to original so want tthe metrics.
