Painting Door Cards

Hey just wanting to know if any1 here knows wat kinda paint to use wen (and even if) paint door cards.Mine are whorry green and just wanna make em black to go with my car.There is a Vynil paint at my work for about 20 bucks a can but i can get em for bout 10 bucks each.Just wondering if this is the right stuff to use and whether or not itll give a half decent finish.It supposidly doesnt fade,scratch,rub etc but yeh.Help please

The stuff we used on dad's dash - the one that had glue all over it, and painted white in placed that claimed it "won't scratch or fade" etc.. didn't do it's job, it cracked all over the show - and thats on a dash. Just get some second hand door cards in a decent colour selection - there's heaps around.

Vinyl paint will work ok for you given that door card is not a high wear area. First you will need to p-roperly clean the door card with say meths to remove all traces of revive or armour all etc. The paint as per instructions. You will need 2 coats, possibly 3.

Yeh ive read that Isoprobule or sumthing works well to get all aged cleaners etc off.

How much would it cost to get black vynil done bro?

hay i did my door cards with the black vinyl spray/paint from super cheap they came out alright (better than the stock blue) but i have not fitted them back to the car yet so dont know how well they will wear.

think it cost me about $20 a can and one can did about 4 coats on all 4 doors
