The cool BMW Stuff thread

Post stuff that is unusual or cool in this thread, stuff that never made production, stuff that no-one's seen before.

First pic: S70/1 engine. Built for the stillborn M8. rumored to have been 5 working M8 cars, all allegedly destroyed, including the engines. Completely different block to the S70/2 Mclaren engine.

Second pic: M8 exterior. Note uncovered M-system wheels.

Third - fifth pic: E30 auto sensing climate control:

Sixth - seventh pic: E30 auxilary oil tank that is connected to the low oil switch in the pan. When triggered, it adds oil to the pan via the dipstick. This is on a ’84 euro 323.
