drifty325i 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2006 Hey guys, im gettin the paint job done soon on my e30 and wondering whats your opinions on pin strips? my car is bluey silver at the moment and im keeping it that way but it has a plain silver pin strip at the mo. should i redo the strip? leave it bare? Guest Spargo Report post Posted August 30, 2006 Pinstripes ususally mean the car has had a touch up with the paint gun at some point, and they've used the pinstripe as a blending point. Some of the coolest pinstripes were on E30's - the german flag and the motorsport stripescome to mind. It depends on the car, mine is silver, and would look like ass with pinstripes i think.
