savvi 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2006 went to midas the other day to get a free brake inspection, and found out what the rattling noise was coming from the rear. Apparently the inner brake pads do not seem to be the right size as the do not hold in one place, i can wriggle them with my finger. can someone tell me what pads should be used on a 86 325is,eg brand, size thanks Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
318is 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2006 Haven't fiddled with your car type/year, but if it's the wrong pads, they generally just don't fit. I'd say whoever replaced them left some bits out like metal clips etc. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
