ajsmith 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2006 HI guys, been a while. The front grill (I think it's called the Kidney Grill?) on my 92 E36 is made of plastic. I was wandering if these were ever released as metal rather than plastic? Reason is that I want to try and get a metal one so I can get it dipped in chrome (perhaps not everyones taste but I think it would suit my car). So does anyone know if these ever came out standard in metal? Or is there any aftermarket ones that are metal? Or will I need to get one customer made??? Thanks guys. ajsmith 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2006 I've heard of but havn't seen an example of these, anyone have any experience with them? It seems to me like a cheap and tacky option.
