things i didnt know bout my Bling ride

well went and had a chat to the alarm guy today to sus me some security.

he asked to see my key (strange) then he puts it in this device and it

"reads" it. then he makes a hmm noise and gently with thumb and fore finger, hands it back to me and tells me its a very expensive key.

so i enquire as to why. Its coz its a wicked quality chip inside the key that tells the car its ok to start from this key. so if i was to get an normal key and have it cut the same it still wouldnt work...PHATT!!

it also means if i want a spare i have to pay some extra $$ to have it chipped the same.

Yeah so its off to get an alarm etc put in tomorrow..woohoo more $$ spent just to hold on to my car from thieving bastards!!

Yeah stealers charge a lot for the keys. SO DONT LOOSE IT.

Thats a reason who bimmers are pretty hard to steal..comparatively..
