Cooling System Pressurizing Problem?? 320i E30

I have been offered a dirt cheap e30 pre f/l 320i, only catch is a problem with the cooling system pressurizing. It drives fine around town, but once you hit motorway speed it pressurizes and blows the heat hose off. Has anybody heard of, or had this problem before? How much can I expect to spend to fix it? A cracked head can pressurize the cooling system. Are you sure the hose is in good condition and the hose clamp is done up properly?

HI,

I had similar problem, the return from the radiator to the expansion bottle was blocked check it's clear and see what happens might be a 5 min fix.
