Gus 5 Report post Posted April 6, 2004 how low is it? im running jamex 40 mm progressives, cars still legal....camber is relatively fine....having said that i havnt had new rear tyres on. the problem with lowering e30s is due the the semi trailing arm rear suspension arrangement, as you lower it more and more (or the springs compress) rear camber increases at an exponential rate http://e30m3performance.com/myths/Weight_T...ht_transfer.htm is an article by someone who at least sounds convincing about it...but if your cars not too low....you havnt hit anything have you? my subframe was bent as....before i replaced it i had mental rear camber, probably about 2 inches of tyre on the road...very nasty......try getting a wheel alignment, they should at least be able to tell you if somethings out. you cant buy rear camber adjusting kits as far as i know, but heres a link if your handy with a welding torch http://e30m3performance.com/installs/insta...talls-3/jl_sub/ and in case you wondering heres a schematic of the rear suspension layout.
