mac4 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2007 Hi i am refurbishing rear brakes on my 80 635. My chiltons manual says "the step on the pistons must face the side of the caliper at 20 o angle where the disc enters the caliper when vehicle is moving forward " Does that mean the raised side in at angle but angled which way clock wise or anti clock . Lucky Sod! I'd like to have a 635. As for your question, I don't actually know sorry, but I would assume there'd be some sort of alignment with the pads, so I'd have thought it would be easy to work out. Have you actually taken a pad out to look at it yet? P
