Gus 5 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 my LSD seems ok, but becomes open under heavy use i know its been semi covered before, but where can i get it rebuilt and possibly lock up increased (i realise they are two different issues) apparently a particular ford??? has the same LSD clutch plates...i think Conrad you were talking about it? also any idea as to costs for plates/labour rowland, where/how did yours get done? If you want more lockup, you will have to either source plates with more preload or you will need to mod the standard ones to give more load. ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Not that i know all to much about them but if you can source the plates etc tey are hella easy to put together, i pulled one apart and cleaned it all up etc in the weekend and they are alot simpler than i first expected.
