  1. With your earlier post if that was aimed at me, yes
  2. No point poking a dead horse mate, I was wrong and I admit it
  3. I think STM would have common sense to check over things naturally but yes I plan on telling them to check over few things just for peace of mind such as valve to piston clearance for one as that was of concern a while back to Aaron but was told after checking twice that was okay. Just the little things.
  4. Oh and I fully agree with what that guy said about Aaron. It basically sums him up in a nut shell. Far too often it was all about his drift car. He would often deny it and state he's got customers cars to work on, but that was a complete load of sh*t. When I last spoke to Geoff he himself said Aaron wasn't putting as much money in to the business himself focusing too much on his car. It's never nice losing a business, but Geoff knew damn well how mucked I felt on the time but it always seemed like it went in one ear and out the other. He had the chance to try and improve his business or work on getting my car finished as promised and he failed that. Because of this, I get stuck with a larger then it should have been bill to try cover up Aarons bull sh*t
  5. Yeah well Geoff wasn't tooooo much of a problem, it was more Aaron always insisting that we're "working on the car, looking at getting it done" blah blah [he kept telling me over and over it would be done before Christmas]. Each time I would ring up on progress updates, it would be a different story all again and again on why it hasn't been worked on and this literally went on from October to the day I picked it up [was 14th of Feb I believe or around there, was a Friday] Money wise, well it's not close to yours I can say that much but I was still left with a car that requires running in+tune. Thankful that STM have stepped up on their slack and it's being dropped off later this month to be completed. Requires run in+tune, wideband and a hi+low switch installed . Air con installed back in, shroud, braided lines, catch can etc was done at home by myself to try and bring costs down. Not major stuff but think it's helped a bit in terms of cost doing it at home
  6. Well, well, well it would seem I owe someone an apology. To keep it short and simple I'll say this: You were right, I was wrong. I'm very, VERY lucky that Shred don't build their engines in house [was off sourced to Collier Motor Engineers for the assembly side of it all] and for that matter to even have my car back. To think I even trusted all this bull sh*t Aaron or Geoff spitted out of their mouths is disgusting . For four whole troubling months my car sat there in their workshop getting very little work carried out, Jan 2014 rolls around and I make a phone call to ask progress update followed by stating I'm picking the car up as I'm being f**ked around again and again, nek minute I get told "Oh you might want to pick your car up" I said "Why" and the next answer was "We're closing down". The nerve of both of them not even mentioning ONCE they were shutting down to me was f**king ridiculous. For that reason I'm lucky to have my car back and yet all he said when I got there [was empty as I arrived] "Oh it would have been safe" The bill they charged me, the fact I never got my suspension parts I paid for because it went on "labor", no actual proof in detail on work carried out because the data was "lost". Man the list goes on and I'm truly sorry for ever thinking that you were the muppet
  7. I don't know, I'm not a mind reader. I'm aware that Aaron can read this thanks Sam. And I see
  8. I never said he knows it all? But it's clear from how well things have gone with him building my engine there's definitely holes in the GTR owners side of the story, no one on here but myself and very few others have probably even bothered to listen to both to make a descision. As I said in my first post, not every job goes smoothly, I work in the trade industry and we do make f**k ups, we're only human after all. But it's interesting listening to some of the things BOTH parties have said with certain things when they don't add up. As again, two sides to a story. One always going to think he's right over the other. Just because the court may have said they're at wrong doesn't necessary mean the court is right. People do crimes all the time and get away with it upon the courts decision, whose right and wrong in situations like those? Just look at the Ewen case, everyone knows there's a big chance he done it and yet he got away with it.
  9. How old are you dude, really? You think I'm passing this information on to Aaron which I'm not although you can believe that all you want but it speaks volumes when you can't answer some simple questions.
  10. I never went to school with him, what kinda bull sh*t is that lol? I went to the same school as Sam though
  11. I'm not speaking about the GTR, I'm speaking about the guy he's talking about with a turbo failure in his above comment. Unless I'm not reading something correctly. I will agree with you on how the oil lines and oil cooler should have been checked on the rebuild, but I've never heard of it being standard practice to do so. Just something that SHOULD have been done. I know I sound one sided, but as I've messaged the GTR owner already there's two many holes in both sides of the story for me to point fingers at just one person. I've spoken to Aaron over this situation already and everything they've done for me so free is completely problem free
  12. Thought you'd know. It's also up to the customer to say what he or she wants, they don't just go and buy something you don't want.
  13. Just curious, but what brand is the turbo that "failed" that you're talking about on this page? Genuine or fake? Also brand new or second hand
  14. First waiting on a response from them
  15. I can't comment on the suspension, and neither can I comment on the whole engine build unless I heard their story to make a full judgement on this. But from what I can see right in front of me, it does sound like they handled the situation poorly as I mentioned above. It's quite unfortunate that the situation was handled in such a manner [based on your story] as for how I'd feel, I can say right now I wouldn't be too pleased either. I'll be keeping a look out on my engine once I get it back, but in saying that this is the only serious problem I've ever heard about Shred. So naturally considering I and friends haven't had problems [thus far] I'd be quick to assume they're not fully at fault if you can understand that. But yeah at the same time I'm not making a full judgement and I didn't mean to upset you or anyone else for that matter. Was just my two cents
