Im pretty sure "/2" just means 2 door... also have it on my coupe. Don't know why they need to write down the obvious...

The e12 was 72 onwards and the m10 was also available in 1.6 and 1.5 etc....but technically had different engine codes.

1.5 L (1499 cc/91 in³) =

M115

1.6 L (1573 cc/95 in³) =

M116 in the 1600 and 1600-2 [or 1602]

and m41 in the 75ish 316.

M98 after 81 in the 316.

1.8 L (1766 cc/107 in³)=

The real m10....e21 318i and 77 518i.

1.8 L (1773 cc/108 in³) =

M118 in the 63-74 1800 and early e12 518

2.0 L (1990 cc/121 in³) = m17 in the 72-late 76 e12, had different head to the e21 and high comp pistons.

M10B18 we all know that one.

(1990 cc/121 in3) = m43/1 in 73 e21 320

(1990 cc/121 in3) = m64 75 520i and 75 320i

m31 from the 2002 turbo (1990 cc/121 in3)

M15 From the 72-74 2002tii

That should about cover it.... :PB)
