The brand is RENKOSpecs are 15 BHP at the flywheel increase. Torque is up 30Nm increase Cost Approx $450.00 ea.Not avaliable until mid October. This is a no Bullshit Chip,i have tested this out today on the open road and it makes my BMW move in ways it did not before.However my 320i e30 has several other modifications done to the engine and before installing the CHIP it was quick.But now it is very quick.The CHIP is for ECU 172 and the other is for 173's. I have noticed the increase in TORQUE right through the rev range, which gives me far greater flexibility at low engine revelutions.The increase in power and torque has resulted in faster acceleration and it is not just standing start acceleration that has improved, but also ingear acceleration as well.Overtaking on the open road has improved drasticley.As i said this is a NO BULLSHIT chip and i'm pleased that i did my homework before i bought this one,it has taken me a year to find this chip as there is alot of duds on the market, beleive me.

Hi to all you E30 guys and girls out there, well i installed my new performance chip this afternoon and all i can say is Wow, what a difference to acceleration/torque, it is phenonimal.The car runs so much smoother and wants to take off at the slightest pressure on the accelerator,i should have done this ages ago, it's worth the money and i cloned it before i installed it.

Thanks Kerry and all those who replied to my problem with spring heights being different at the front,swapped rear springs this afternoon to there opposite sides, but it did not make any difference, i will try Kerry's method of jacking the rear up evenly and see what that brings, then from there i will have to take one side out and swap it with a new spring of the same height, will keep you posted, regards Phil.

If you are going to use it on the street, it will not pas a warrant of fitness because it will be deemed unsafe because the tyre size is not compatable to the rim size and is stretched out to meet the rim band.Also it will corner like a bucket of sh*t because there is no roll rate on the side walls and if put into a corner really hard it is likely to roll over,if this was a good idea why aren't race cars of today doing this?

There was a real cool e30 4door at Moorehouse Shell on Thursday afternoon getting waxed, but it was dark blue metalic with 15' s on it, minilite mags.This car is a real sleeper, but has some very high performance mods done to it.The guy who owns it makes his own performance chips, headers,cold air intake mods, etc but is very reluctant to give much away, this car is very fast when he puts the pedal to metal and it is a 320.

Has anyone had this experience happen to them?I bought a pair of Dobi front springs from Autolign in Christchurch last week and installed them over the weekend, made sure that they were seated properly and even measured them to make sure they were the same length. However when i took the car to have the wheel alignment done the guy measured the wheel arches to the ground and found that the right side was 15 mm lower than the left side,he told me that some spring makers like King springs make a left and a right spring with the right spring slightly higher because that side is sat in more.The new springs were not labeled left or right and when i went back to Autolign to ask if they made left and right springs they said no after looking up there parts manual. Has anybody got some suggestions on this or heard of this before ?
