Hi guys
Ive recently brought what I think is a m50b25 off trademe
can anyone confirm that it is a 2.5L and not a 2.0L
Ive tried searching the net but the block numbers dont make sence
ecu numbers
bosch motronic
0261200402
wbac22010fa <--- sounds like a chassis number but cant decode it
06547
07797/07797
1744773
block numbers
33920058
20 6 s 1 <-- tells me its a 2.0L 6cyl
25c91 <-- cast into block
1735813 <-- also in block
head number
2.0
1720901
I just want to confirm it is what it is before I go back to the seller
Realy dont want to waste my time fitting it to my e30

In my opinion (from what ive read) the 3.0L and 5speed modle is more reliable and doesnt have the same problems as the 3.2's,
please people if your not interested in buying it dont comment.
this is a family site so I will bite my toungue
18k is what I would like for it, how ever I doubt anyone will part with that sort of money hence the O.N.O part that lets the potential buyer know that Im willing to negotiate
-
velcrom- I would happily met you in picton.
E39KiwiTouring- I live in greymouth, theres no beter place than my front lawn, also anyone thats looking for an m3 will know the upgrades over the standard e36,
the k&n filter was for pictures only, currently has a K&n panel filter (the pod with be used on the 1uz)
the vehicle was built december 1994,clocked up 40,000 od ks in japan, then made its was to nz, serviced by shelly bmw wellington
land line is 03 768 4984 but im hardly ever home so I listed my cell

jeremy
-
yes you could swap the interior over
but it realy isnt that bad
pics were taken on a bright sunny day (yes we actualy do get them down here) with all doors and sun roof open
18k would be the lowest id take, its not worth selling for any less
ill drop it off at picton or meet the new owner half way
mtf is still going strong, they would be happy to finance the car and shaft you with intrest lol
also its got the standard intake box with k'n panel filter not the cone filter in the pics
jeremy

18k takes it away!!!!!
it will be going on trademe in a weeks time
come on guys this is what finance companys were made for
-
just a wee update
new wof
needed pads and rotors 1k's worth
89,000 ks now
should also mention its had the vanos unit, water pump, alternator and battery replaced recently 2k's worth
1uz-fe's running- sounds sweet, drop me a pm if any one wants any info
now id like a m90 37" tyres for the lux
open to offers
thanks
jeremy

its like this
if you dont want it dont buy it
if im looking at something and im happy with it i dont mind paying what the seller wants
eg alan wanted 20k for for his m3 i liked it- i brought it
what im saying is, an item is only worth what some is prepared to pay for it
Id pay 1200 for a manual coupe, geez its only money
rant over
theres a guy coming to have a look at it on sunday so the sales on hold till he decides
and ispansbab from what i can see its got a crack in the window (window insurance time, or replace it yourself, takes like 1/2 h) and a few minor things
im selling on behalf but ill get it on the hoist on sat and list all the faults i can find
thanks

my girlfriends little brother wants to sell his pride and joy so he can buy a set of 33" mud tyres ?????????
any way
its a 87 320i manual- i dont know if its factory
reg on hold, no wof
black in colour bodys quite straight for its age, paints faded in places
all chrome seems to be there
has one of those horible trademe euro mufflers on it
would make a good m3 rep project or donor car
id buy it my self (would go nicely with a lexus) but ive got to finish the lexlux
(may even need to sell my e36m3 to finish it) m90 and 35"s here i come
hes after $1200 im heading over to chch in a few weeks so i could drop it off???
contact me on 0277670726.

anyway back to the original topic
yes you can make your SMALL motor a bit faster but will loose realiability
you can do what i did e30 325i < e36 m3
or you can repower it
im installing a 1uz quadcam v8 into an old hilux and would recomend it to anyone
its been done before to a purple 318ti
your wallets the limit.
