    Mate needs an AFM

Where are you located and are you certain it works properly?
  2. Do you have a 535i E34, M30 Air Flow Meter Part Number: Bosch 0280203027. also what would be the cost?
  3. Eek! I paid 400 for mine to be done in Formula 1 film. Thought I got ripped off!!!
  4. Today I decided to change my trans fluid as I have been having problems and wanted to eliminate that as the cause. After making a few phone calls and talking to a mechanic, I was set to start. I started by draining out the old fluid using the lower of the two plugs on side of trans (one is on each side) I was told by the mechanic that if I have an under-bonnet filler (wich I do) that I fill it from there. Here is the problem: When I dropped the fluid out (roughly 3L) the under-bonnet filler with the dipstick was still as full as before I started. The fluid in there is also a brown color, the fluid I dropped out was red... I didnt replace the filters or take off the small sump as I had this done professionally a few months back. Why would the fluid level not have moved? I tried driving it, tried moving through the gears heaps of times, still nothing. Any feedback would be great Nathan
  5. Anyone have one of these for an e36? Im having trouble with my new tail lights.
  6. Does anyone know the fuse number for the dash lights on a 1988 535i?
  7. me and a mate had the same problem with his wrx, pioneer unit too . there isnt a way to make the headunit stop doing it but on his we put a switch in the line between the head unit and areial power lead so when he wants to listen to the radio he hits the button and the aerial goes up, hits it again and it goes down. Hope this helps.
  8. Yes the wires can all be spliced in but just beware that the colors may be different. Best way to do it is use a volt meter to work out wich one the Constant 12V is (yellow on normal units) and the Switched 12V (red on normal units), find your earth, wire them up and test wire combinations for the speakers until you are happy, the last wire or two are for the backlight and dimmer. Hope this helps
  9. Those mags look like the ones that were used on a car on pimp my ride season 1, they painted pink bits in them, the car was pink, cant remember wich one tho, if you hire the dvd you might be able to work it out.

The other day I was on the melling bridge waiting for the lights and a woman on a moped had tapped the corolla in front of her and the driver was having a huge as domestic at her about the non existant damage, i wanted to open my window and tell her to suck it up but i couldnt open my windows coz of new tints oh well. 13. How much can you roll the guards before they start to crap themselves? I want to put 20s on my E36 but dont wanna have to get skinny as wheels so the fit inside the guards like my mate has done on his coupe.
  14. Hey, I have a 1991 E36 318i and when i start it from cold it seems to rev hunt (tacho moves up and down by a few rpm on its own). I have also noticed it doing it randomly when sitting at lights usually on a downward slope and does it really hardout when steering wheel on full lock, iMy tyres are 205/80/R15 off a 1996 model E36 so this shouldnt be much too big, can anyone help me out on this or is it normal?
