I also had a bad experience with HotWire, with the alarm on my previous car. Firstly, they couldn't get the alarm hooked up correctly to the central locking. It would just lock and unlock. One of the alarm fobs stopped working (the light remained on and I replaced the battery and re-programmed both fobs to be sure, and that one still wouldn't work). I have sold the car a few months ago, so I'm not really that worried anymore, but since you brought up the topic, thought I'd add my 2 cents. It's also turned me off alarms, I would never have an alarm installed in a car again.

Hi, You mentioned you have various switches - do you have (push on/push off) switches for rear window demister, hazard lights, or ideally another (blank) one that fits in the same slot on the dash? I want to do a stereo mod on my electric aerial, and want it to be stealth. Have you got any that would be suitable, and how much would they be? Cheers David

Hi all, Became a BMW owner for the first time a few weeks ago, a stock standard 1988 e30 318i Coupe Automatic. The previous owned passed away 6 months ago. She hardly drove it, so consequentially it had 112,000 kms when I bought it a few weeks ago for $2,000.00 I previously had a Toyota Corona station wagon, and while I loved that car, I love this car even more!
