  1. Hi people,

Yesterday i flew into christchurch, on my way from the airport i saw 2 cars proudly displaying bimmersport stickers within a couple of minutes of each other.

One was a older shaped black 5 series (debadged so i dont know what model) and a white e30 coupe with the mintest looking rims i have ever seen!!

Anyway its good to see other members around the place with the stickers! In saying that I havnt seen any other members in auckland driving round though.

    Josh

  2. So they are wanting 84k for an e30 m3 thats been tampered and modified from factory specifications?? Thats abit steep in price isnt it?

For $84k you could score yourself a pretty mint e46 m3 and have a wee bit of change... But im sure somebody whos got the coin to spend will buy it.

  3. Hi

Im looking at buying a 1993 e36 320. The one that i am interested in buying is an automatic though. Im not a fan of automatic transmission, so would like to get a fair idea of how much it will cost to convert it to manual.

    Would like to know:

    - Cost of box

    - Cost of fitting it (labour)

    - And any other associated costs

    Cheers,

  4. means that your brake pads somewhere along the line are worn to the point where metal is hitting metal and connecting hte circuit to the brakepad lining sensor. This means that your pads may need to be changed.

Mine sometimes flickers on and off, I was told by my mechanic that the pads are fine, its just they are not OEM brand ones and dont bed properly but is nothing to worry about. Have them checked sometime.

Ok cool thanks for that. I think i might be in the same situation as you then, considering my rotors and pads have travelled less than 3,000km and i dont think the pads are OEM branded ones either.

But in saying this i will get them checked out.

  5. Hi there,

Driving home from my mates house this evening, i noticed that a warning light on the dash was flickering on and off. Checked in the owners manual and found that it was the 'brake lining wear' light. I didn't notice anything different in the braking after noticing the warning light

    What does this mean?

Today we painted and sanded down my rims, could it be something to do with this?? Paint or maybe degreaser on the rotor or pad??

  6. I have a butchered one that was in my car before I put my new one in.Can have that if you collect it...its got a 30 odd mm crack.

Oh yea, I may be able to collect... where bouts in Auckland are you?

  7. Hi,

Im looking for the panel that goes under the dash above the pedals in a pre-facelift e30. I cracked mine while wiring up my speakers.

I can post up pic's if nobody can make sense of my description :D

  8. Spent Christmas with some friends down in Galatea claybird shooting, hunting, fishing and driving the backroads.

New Years in Tauranga was fairly average, drank a LOT of Jagermeister (2 bottles + most of a bottle of sambuca) at a friends party before we all got a taxi to the mount, got in a couple of fights because my best friend was on ecstacy hasselling a bunch of skinheads, almost got arrested after beating the crap out of aforementioned skinhead. Broke my hand jumping someones back fence, Missus was in tears because she thought I'd been killed for some reason.

Got back home at 5:30am where a bunch of us continued to drink until mid afternoon on new years day... spent the next 2 days recovering.

All in all it was a fairly fun holiday... back to work on monday =[

    ........God dam skinheads!!
