    Pure Pwnage

Hey all, my name is Tim, good mate of Sam T, you may or may not have heard of this site, it's (currently) an 8 part series of f**king funny videos that follow Jeremy the pro-gamer called pure pwnage.. It's basically about him or his mates pwning n00bs or other such activities of a pro gamer.. The website has short clips you can preview, as each vid is 15-20min and suitable for only those with sizeable broadband caps.. Anyway, have a look, all of the vids are great, the latest is one of the best Pure Pwnage Episodes Cheers, Tim.
  2. Haha, humour. What a fecking douche bag. I bet he's enjoying the burns and mangled skin..
  3. Lol nah, he's been flying planes for years. It's not hard to steal a plane, espec when heaps of people leave keys in them + unlocked. In a twin you don't even need keys to start them.. so if the doors unlocked away you go. Saving grace is that any old thief wouldn't know how to start them and taxi the thing to the runway let alone fly..
  4. I've flown with him. Got my PPL from him even. It was remarkably out-of-character for him. He was always a good bugger. Incredible pilot, had some true skill.. was always quiet and reserved but still had a blazing sense of humour. Everyone I know who flew with him couldn't believe it, must have just been some gremlins in his system somewhere that he couldn't quite take care of. Although, how gutted would you be if your missus gave you the flick once you come home from your honeymoon?

    The Hate Thread

    I hate hoodrats. :rambo:
  6. About a month and a bit ago was out with some mates, in the akld domain, i pulled up first in a carpark with my lights shining out over the grass, then my mate pulled up and parked on the grass, debating whether to venture. Low and behold a Nissan Sunny down the road turned on its lights, drove up beside us, stopped and stared for a min or so, then as it drove off it fired up it's lights and sirens and all that... we were just wtf.
  7. Sounds like AFM to me. May be shorting the circuit in there giving smoke out the filter. Seems to me the AFM is f**king up and sending the wrong signals to the computer, so the AF ratio is going out the window. I've seen a car with a f**ked loom for the AFM, it wasn't wanting to start, when it did it was coughing and spluttering and sounding quite poseur rotary like. I reckon that should be your first port of call. Tim.

    BMW 6 series

I saw one of these going from albany back to town on the motorway not long ago, it was a black 645 on 19s or 20s..... it looks good. it looks really f'ing good in the flesh. Definately better in the flesh.
  9. When the engine dies, is it over-fuelling and blowing heaps of dark soot out the back from improper combustion? If it is, chances are more than likely its the CAS or maybe even the loom. Mates car had this, took us ages to find it, we replaced half the ignition system + CAS before we tried another loom for the CAS. Fixed it right up. It was pretty funny listening to a straight six sound like a bridgeported rotor tho

    HOT PROBLEM

Sounds like thermostat to me, just before mine failed the temp was going up and down a lot as the thermostat opened and shut. After about 2min of rapidly going up and down it kept on going up as the thermostat jammed so i had to park it. Trouble was, i was out in riverhead taking a mate to look at a car. He didnt even like it either.... Murphys law i guess. $$ Towing + new thermo and radiator top tank later i was back on road. Take it in somewhere and get an opinion. Chances are whatever it is will fail at the worst possible time. Cher, Tim
  11. Double-Clutching in a standard car IMO is a waste of time. The transmissions are built with that in mind, and don't require it. It's only necessary in things like diesel 4wds and bigger, and even then, its only the ones with crap boxes. It's not a strain on the gearbox when it has to speed up to match the input shaft as there's no load on it. Compare it to the strain of the 1-2 shift when one slams it down into 2nd on the drag strip etc, thats a hell of a lot harder on the box. I reckon, just heel toe (i roll my foot to tap the accel), match the revs and keep it nice and smooth. If you can be bothered trying to double-declutch go for it, but it takes months to get consistently smooth-as downshifts. my 2c.
  12. Lol, they are rough at high revs, but the fact it wasn't even remotely broken in may have something to do with it. Eek, hate to think of the pistons shrieking up and down the bores... f**ks the engine reliability in the long run if you run them remotely hard at less than 1500odd km as well. Ha, so dont buy that one!
