Hey guys has anyone tried installing the dynavin onto a e38 ? if so could you point me to the right direction? Reading through the 6 pages i understand that the steering control work, but does this dynavin also connect to the bmw computer to show the consumption and other stuff on the screen? Cheers.

Hi guys I also need a Gold-blue right hand side door mirror with auto dimming and heating. let me know if you have one for sale. Also im looking for one that has its photo chormatic features still working. my current mirror is intact but the golden color liquid has dripped to the bottom of the frame.

Any one of you brothers have any spare or for sale bmw e38 clips. These are the clips that hold the wood trim onto the dash. I only need 2 for the small right hand side piece by the steering wheel. Wreckers dont care about these clips and ebay ones each cost way too much with postage. here is an attached pic of what it looks like. Just opened the whole thing up after work today. Turns out the rubber gormmet that puts the levelling switch in place is missing and the switch has been dangling in turn, causing that washer alert. Ill go and guy a grommetOn that note, looking at the switch, the sensor in it is all rusted and blocked, you think i can just give it a clean to make it work again or do i have to replace that too? Again thanks a lot for helping me get to the bottom of this.

hey guys does anyone know why my gear selection panel LED (Park) is always on in the central console by the lever? Even when my car has keys out, locked and sitting for hours. or is it meant to be like that? If so what a waste of battery power. Im just checking that this car has not been singapore "engineered" or something.

Ah ok ...you see im not a pro with these body panel terms. so to break it down, do you mean taking the actual right hand side guard out, or is there some kind of a liner inside the engine bay. i was looking at the realoem to find the thing you are saying, could you advise if its item 7 in this link http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=41&fg=10 Also where can i buy this part from for cheap. hey guys any idea how to locate an e38 windscreen washer bottle. The washer fluid runs out as soon as I start pouring into it through the nozzle. After pouring half the bottle and wondering how big the bottled could be to use up half a 5 litre bottle i realised its draining out straight away. I cant even see the bottle at this point. How do I reach the bottle and the connections is it from underneath the car by removing the bottom covers? Thanks in advance for it guys (the windscreen screen washer alert is driving me nuts)

anyone know much about putting the ebay available red brembo brake pad covers? i was considering as would look cool. But things im considering is i) heat issue, ii) glue falling off ii) would the covers rub against 18" wheels as i saw the wheels are real close to the brakes.

hey guys my e38 came with some continentals 235/50/zr18. the rear ones are 60% worn now and need to get some tyres. calling the usual places gives me prices like $860 per continentals ??? : is there a cheaper good quality option? I really mean any specific brand/shop you guys would suggest for around 200 bux?--without kidding myself thanks in advance

Hi yes its a 2001 728i, its got continental conti sports on at the moment. but the crazy prices people offer replacement of continentals are crazy.....for me anyway. thanks for the posts guys
