Are any other parts from the car available?

i'd love to know what kind of brain explosion someone must have had when they thought "hmmmmmmm ive got about a hundred and fifty grand to spend on a car, now how purple can i make it?" i think i could live with the exterior, but the interior looks like someone has vomitted ribena all over it. what an absolute shame.

The Ten Commandments for Car Audio Noobs

I couldn't agree more with everything said above. for many years i have run a pair of fusion jonah lomu components in the front (13cm) run off a 100x2 rms amp, a pair of 2 way 13cm 2 ways in the rear tray (fusion again, about 35w rms run off the head unit amp) and a sony sub run off a 500w rms amp. a fairly limited setup by any means but it fits perfectly in the factory mountings and sounds really quite fantastic. from my own experiences i cannot overemphasize the need for a good power supply to your amplifiers. luckily my e30 has the battery in the boot making wiring a doddle with a phat piece of four gauge. think about your car stereo like this; if you were to go to a concert there arent any speakers behind you are there? your car should be no different. the rears should solely be there for some fill. -
my 86 m325i supposedly has a 55 or 60 litre (ish) fuel tank but only holds about 35 litres from dead empty to full.... im a little confused. wondering if anyone could shed some light.

the game itself IMO was quite cool. not terribly revolutionary but still pretty cool in its own right. it isnt really doing anything revolutionary though and for a 120 dollar game (on 360) i was kinda looking for a little more. found it to be more like underground 2 than the last game most wanted which i thought was AWESOME!! i wish developers looked to bmw a little more when developing games. one thing i love about pgr3 on 360 is the download car feature. sure it costs you some hideously expensive "microsoft points" but i now get to drive the m3 csl and the m6 around nurburgring.........

I've recently begun restoring my old friend, a pre facelift '86 M325i. after searching around ebay for some parts i came across the standard chips for sale that offer "x amount of horsepower gain with x torque increase" (i think they were offering about 20 horsepower and 30nm). has anyone out there had experience with such chips??? some of them were ridiculously cheap, around the US$40 mark. secondly, and most importantly, i have a very early ecu that doesnt seem to be compatible with any of them, does this mean its time to upgrade my ecu (as the chips are built for specific ecu #'s) or can i mix and match chips to any extent? also as a noob in this forum can i just say what an awesome wealth of knowledge some of the members here have. keep up the great work
