Hah ... nah i don't think i have enough bass yet .. i can still hear ... !!! And also my battery is under the bonnet so yeah ... The + goes to the circuit breaker there(in the picture) and then goes to the boot. And the - is just wire to the chassis. Yes it is a 1.8, it is my first car ... Hey Ali.... you have the same name as me .. !! hehe .. I was born in Saudi Arabi thats where i got my name, but i'm an Asian thats lived here for about 11 years now ... (just incase you were wondering).

My old man used to have the 540i, i loved driving it, but now he's got the 745i and i like driving that even more ....

Yeah, i reckon number plates depends on what car it goes on and what it says. the plates on the new car is euro's with the BMW plates, i think it's BMW128 or something .. i forgot .. will know in about 3 weeks time.

what linkage ??!?!?!
-
Oh, how would i go about doing that, i could make an attempt.
-
I would also consider the 3-series sedans or coupe second hand, but the choice wasn't mine. The car should be here within the next 3 weeks or so.
-
Yes i would consider it.

actually i'm not affiliated with them in anyway... i just got referred to them by a local shop here in Dunedin. And i find that their service is really good, thats all...

I need some parts urgently and cheaply for my E36, and Mosen's were really quick in getting back to me, i emailed them midnight and they called back at about 9:00 the following morning with availibility and great price. Really freindly guy too, i would recommend them to anyone. Freight is also pretty reasonable, it was only $19 for two day service but i needed overnight so that was about $40. They do OEM parts, and can source just about any BMW parts or aftermarket mods etc.

Nah i don't mean personal like that, i mean personal as in my brother was in a major car accident a while back and basically the only reason he is still alive right now is because he was driving my old man's 540i, and now because of that accident my old only buys BMW's. Not the fact that i just want to show off in a BMW, if i had my choice i would go for a $40,00 2002 kitted out RAV4 2dr, i recon they look quite nice ..!!

There are other personal reasons why we choose BMW over other cars aswell...

Well the thing with the compact compared to the corolla's is the saftey features, and it's more solid of a car. The other option was a mini Cooper S but it was ruled out as too impractical. Turbo car ??? out of the question, no insurance (records not the best + under 21) I've seen pictures of the 1-series, they look like a ford focus (well they may have been not finallised pictures). Oh, i have a question, regard the compact don't know if you's know or not. The SE comes with PDC so i'm just wondering if i go for the M Sports Package will i still have the PDC cause the entire bodykit is changed. And would i still have the 'Multi Function for sterring wheel with cruise control', because the steering wheel is also changed with the sports package.

When the budget started at $45000, the Sedan was out of the quesiton let alone the Coupe. I barely managed to squeezed the budget to just under $60,000 for the options that i wanted... To get the options that i wanted in the sedan would be $80,000 + i think off the top of my head, i forgot. Plus getting insurance for a 20 year old in a $80,000 car is expensive or near impossible ... !!!!!

Oh i forgot to say the M Sport version
-
I'm talking in term of a new car perspective not comparing to a second hand car. Other wise there would be many other solutions me olds would go for, for me.
-
I'm sure people know what is looks like. Further opinions would be nice if you don't like it. It's the M Sport version, scroll down the bottom for a picture....

Hey i'm after a factory rear bumper set for E36 4 dr, second hand. Does anyone have one for sale or anyone know where i can go to get a cheap one ?

Yeah it does punch very well rather than just vibrate things around I got lots more pictures, but they are all rather large .. The TV is a rebranded of alpine(so it's just like a alpine but named differently) , it's fitted in the center in where the center vent is, the vent got taken out and a new bracket made, and the wind rerouted to above the TV, but it never got finished due to the fact that i am changing cars. i can take some photo's showing you what has been do so far tho. And yes i will be selling my entire system apart from 2 x 10'' Xmax and the largest Alpine amp which will be going into my new car. The TV is a fully automatic one. If you are interested the subs, amp rack, cap rack, etc will just fit into your car.

But i have to rip the sounds out soon cause it's getting traded in But nice to be on here, hope to meet some other BMW fanatics aswell
