Any chance on some details/pics? Trademe is unfortunately blocked at work for me...
-
AWESOME car yo! I love the colour, just not too sure about them wheels..
-
Cheers Ryan! I'm not too worried about not having a spare, at least I have something to listen to while I'm waiting for the towie

Sounds good, just let me think about that......

FS: Custom German/Europlates ORDERS NOW CLOSED - Last Order Before Chr
Sargasm replied to _ethrty-Andy_'s topic in For Sale
Definitely keen on a set of black NZ euro plates! Let me know what's involved and what you need. MIXDUP -
Thanks man! The only problem I have with it is that my boot is now rendered useless... and if I'm ever unlucky enough to get a puncture, there's no spare to get me home.. I'd still rather have the sounds though
-
It has a 330cca Soundstream battery under the panel to the left of the subs and a capacitor to the right. Just not entirely sure how big the capacitor is.. But I've had the sounds running with the engine off for about half an hour with no problems.
-
Not entirely sure about the subs and amp in the boot eh. But the ones behind the back seats are 1400w mono amps though.
-
The sounds came with the car, so im not complaining. Yes about the park sensors, very handy on a new car.

That's a better idea than free advertising for a company I don't have anything to do with

A fair bit of doof alright! What about the boot spoiler? There are no markings/brand logos or numbers I can see on it at all. The previous owner told me when I bought the car that he hasn't done anything to the car mechanically/visually, just the sound system. So he was obviously no help..

New pics as promised

99% sure it's not a genuine ACS. The only ACS branded part I could find on the car was the cover on the top of the back window (refer to pics). One thing though, is that I've never seen this spoiler on any other e36 which makes me think it might be AM. Unless anyone else can tell me different?? This is exactly how I bought the car, no visual mods.......yet. Plans for the near future: either angle eye headlights or the audi style ones that are for sale on trademe. Front lip/splitter. Possibly look at raising the car a couple of inches..

Are you serious?? The first thing I did when I drove this car home was pull all that advertising off the sides of it. The only part that wouldn't come off is the Pioneer sticker on the spoiler. I'll have to use a heat gun for that. It looks much sharper without stickers on it anyway IMO.

Yeah man, sure is.

Yeah man, all sounds included, fortunately for me! I'll add some pics for the guys who didn't manage to see it on trademe later on tonight or tomorrow morning.

I assume because of the common (apparently mis-)conception that all BMW's break down often and are dear to fix. I guess I'll find out soon enough!
-
"MIXDUP". Not bad for $100! It was apparently used on a concrete mixer 5 or 6 years ago
-
Yeah I was a bit cautious buying a car advertised as "Purple" But fortunately it's the kind of purple that I'm not embarrassed to drive!

So I've done it. I've gone against most other people recommendations and bought a 1995 E36 328i M Sport. So far...I absolutely love it! The build quality of this fine piece of German engineering has so far blown everything else I have driven out of the water. I have to admit though, this is my first euro car after previously owning 10 or so jappas. Appologies for the bad picture, it was just a quick snap outside my work. More pics to come soon. Be nice
