mega squirt and injectors are installed car is running now i got learn how to tune got my hands on a 1wat knock thing with headphones and a mtxl wideband controller to monitor the fuel i hve a freand with a bit of no how to but the thing that is troubling me now is temp gauge not working now people on the net r saying it has a separate temp sensor for gauge to ecu but the gauge stopped once b4 and after goggling the prob if fixed it by soldering some corroded runs inside the ecu any one got the temp working after installing standalone

ok all the family stuff is finally over back to the turbo build i came away from that messy holiday with some money so sticking to a budget build i brought a meghasquirt 2v2 for 850 all set up for m50 with ignition module to run stock coils and stock idle valve and the i found some new 550cc injectors for 250 us should have em running soon

OK BACK IN TO IT PULLED THE VANOS ENGINE OUT TODAY ONLY TO FIND THE 4 PUK CLUTCH HAS MUNCHED A MM OR 2 OFF BOTH THE PRESSUER PLAT AND FLYWHEEL BOTH WARPED AND BURNT THOUGHT SOMETHING FELT FUNNY SO I THE HARTAGE BACK WHERE IT BELONGS AND I HAVE NOW SPENT MY ECU MONEY ON A NZAD CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL $1200 I HAVE STATED MOCKING UP INTERCOOLER PIPING HERE IS I FEW PIC WHERE IM UP TO GOING TO GO WITH A LINK WILL TAKE A FEW MOTHS OF SAVING STORM OR EXTREME CAN I GET A STORM WORKING WITH STOCK COILS WITH WAST SETUP WILL AND IGNITOR BE OK TO FIRE 2 COILS OF 1 CHANEL

ok i see links plug and play is m50tub25 only i converted my car to vanos just to see what it was all about i didn't like it that's why im putting the other engine back in the only difference i can see is i wire for vanos solenoid and a o2 sensor so why cant i use it anyone else troubled them self over this

that would be awesome i Googled m50 turbo oil return and and everybody seams to just go in at the top of the sump on the right hand side when i tried it it was still below the oil line but maybe when the engine is running the oil line drops just enough because i haven't read of anyone having an issue with it like the yet

OK I CAN GET IN THE FONT COVER JUST ITS ABOUT I INCH OF FALL BUT ITS VEREY COSE WHAT DO U THINK CRUNCHY CAN THE COVER BE REMOVED WITHOUT REMOVING THE HEAD OR IS IT TORQUED DOWN ON IT

thanks man good idea i had seen the vac pump idea somewhere befor and worked well i was told i may be ok thou i have about 3 and a half inches of fall to my sump would that enough

the downpipe is just 3'' mild steel used donut for the bends and water is just run thru the line to the trotle body not sure it i have thought that thru as the water may not flow unless the intake air is realy cold so il have to study that

ok so today was mostly just giving the engine a clean panted water hoses added a chinesium wastgate of tm $120 7psi spring wrinkle pained rocker cover and finished welding downpipe oil feed done $120 of tm not chinesium this was japanesium still haven't found a pipe to weld in my sump so that's the next steep

got all the water lines for the turbo done today plus got an intercooler for $60

got the manifold done down pipe done and wastgtae positioned its is a tight fit as a low mount hope i have enough fall for oil return welding is shocka all ways is when it for myself going to be wrap it anyway how do i get pics on here keeps saying upload failed what is the format jpeg and bitmap don't work

not running the tu engine so the link plug and play is a no go and i don't have sponsorship so all that other stuff may be a bit of a strech

that's what i thought but im more of a fab man not a techy so i was swayed gees i will be pushing that deadline back 6 months or so any favorites for injectors

OK SOUNDS LIKE SOME GOOD ADVISE WHAT IS THE MOST POWER I COULD GET FROM STOCK FUEL SYSTEM I WAS GOING TO JUST GET IT PIGGYBACKED FOR NOW ITS CHEAP AND I CANT HAVE HER OF THE ROAD FOR TO LONG LOCAL TUNER HAS A DEAL GOING PIGGYBACK SUPPLIED FITTED AND TUNED FOR $950 HE SAYS THEY GOT 236KW FROM E36 2.8 WITH HIS PIGGY ON STOCK FUEL SYSTEM AND A RISING RATE REG SOUNDS LIKE A TALL ORDER MUST HAVE BEEN LEAN AS IL BE HAPPY RUING LOW BOOST 180-200KW BE OK FOR NOW NEXT YEAR I WILL BUILD A STRONG ENGINE AND GO LINK

turbo is used but good nick i picked it up for $500 will probably be the only thing quality in this build every thing else will be made from chineseum so what is the best placement for the wastgate not that i have much room to play with i don't want a high mount i want to keep it Farly stealth im going to build my log today i work in an exhaust shop and work is super quite at the mo i got my 6 plats cut last week cost $150 will put up pics when its done

any body interested in following anther egg trying to wreck a perfectly good car i have a e36 with m50 stroker 2.8 a frend of mine has scored a e36 and is doping a 351 Cleveland in it so i gota do something with mine i guess i want it done buy Christmas so it gona be quick and am poor so cheap to got my hands on a Garrett gt3076r so i got a start got a few mates that r turbo freaks so gona got cash in some favors this weekend motor is yet to go in car so i guess ill start at the sump dran will upload pic if anyones interested if anyone been there done that has any f.y.i im all ears oh and are log manifold all good for budget build
